EXCITING NEW SHOP

Hi Ladies,  I HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS.  I haven't posted for quite some time because i've been busy opening my new shop in a small town in NSW called Robertson, in the southern highlands.  Misty Memories  is the name. My husband thinks it sounds like a retirement village, but i know he's only joking....lol. It's a gift and homewares shop located in the main street opposite the BIG potato.  It still needs a few wrinkles ironed out, but overall things are falling into place just nicely.  I need to get better at taking photo's, and i'm waiting for some new stock to arrive before i take anymore shots, but thought i would show you a few i have taken recently. We stock homewares including shabby chic, vintage finds, quilts (arriving soon) and general gifts.  I have been blessed with quite a large store, so there is plenty of room out the back for my crafting and painting of furniture.  I would love to meet my blogging friends, so please feel free to pop in and say hello when you're in the area.  Have a great week, until next time.
Cindy

  2. Q: So what do you buy for a mother-in-law with everything ?
A: A silver and coloured glass object that looks at first like a brooch. But when it's picked up the silver sides swing out, inviting you to think it must be a magnifying glass, except that you can't see how the coloured glass can actually work that way. Then when you have exhausted all brain cells and shyly ask Cindy..... the answer is a decorative hand bag hanger /hook for the side of a table !!

We have bought one. Not sure Mother-in-law will use it, but it sure must be a conversation piece :-)

    Thanks Cindy
