And breathed new life into it, and another i had picked up at an Op Shop. What a difference a coat of white paint adds. Don't you just love white? I love it.

It's Nearly that time again

Hi everyone, well it's nearly that time time again...yep you guessed it. Christmas is not far away, so seeing as the weather was so cold and miserable today i decided to start on some Christmas things. Today it was wreaths. Made one for myself and one for a my friend Julie. Tomorrow it's reindeers day. Will show you pics of them when they are finished. Picked up a few bling looking napkin rings on my travels too. I just love them, you can never have too much bling.. So thought i would show you a few pics of the wreaths, my new desk and a few other things around the house. Trouble in Blogland

Hi girls, i haven't done any regular posts, i'm still trying to work a few things out with this blogging thing. Trying to work out how to attach my email address, and some of the people i have added as followers don't appear on my list, but i will get there. Have been waiting to paint more shabby items and do some christmas items, maybe tomorrow, but when i get this thing all sorted i will post some photos. Have a great day, i just adore all your blogs.

Market Disaster....

Hi all, well no markets today. Got out of bed and it was raining and miserable, so hubby and i decided to stay home, and what happened, the sun shone when it was too late to pack the car and go, and it shone all day. So we missed the markets today so i thought i would just post a few pics instead, and put a few items on ebay. Be back soon.

Market Day Tomorrow

Hi everyone, tomorrow is my second market day at Robertson, that's if the rain holds out and the sun shines. It has been a busy couple of weeks getting ready, spent most of today with paint brush in hand and a tin of white paint, so hopefully it goes ahead. Thank you to all who have welcomed me to blogging, it's very exciting to get messages and so nice of you all to be so thoughtful. Market Day

Thrifty Thursday

Well today i spent the day going from Op shop to Op shop (or Thrift shop as some may know it). Not much in the way of furniture but found some nice linens. Tomorrow is another day, and who knows what surprises are waiting for me. Although i am finding that these shops are not as thrifty as they once were, and have really hiked up their prices.
